The HB Mini is a single mode small footprint humbucker pickup that fits readily into instruments with traditional mini-humbucker pickup routes; including Les Pauls™, SGs™ and other guitar models that adhere to the mini-humbucker standard size.
A sonic step apart from its bigger PAF-sized brother, the HB Mini has a character all its own. It is clear and present with a musicality that is only JBE. The initial attack of each note makes the guitar come alive with definition and sustain. Like other pickups in the JBE line, they share the same ‘design DNA’ that not only offers hum free performance and superior tone and playability that allows you to cut thru sonic clutter of any band without having to turn up to 11. (Of course, you can still blow the roof off the house if you must…but not recommended).
The HB-Mini uses a shielded 4-wire hookup cable for wiring flexibility. Unlike 2-wire or braided shield humbuckers, the additional wires of the HB Mini allow you to easily configure the pickup for series or parallel wiring. Wire the HB Mini to a push/pull pot or mini switch and get on-the-fly tone changes.
